The most important role of SALTA is to secure and check the quality of language trips and language stays abroad, without any exceptions.

These are the rules that SALTA members have agreed to abide by.

  • deliver their promises
  • have access to a customer insurance policy in the form of Guarantee fonds from the Swiss Travel Industry
  • advise all clients professionally, honestly, comprehensively and in every aspect
  • present information in prospects and on internet sites clearly, honestly and completely
  • are there to help clients before, during and after their trip as professional and helpful specialists
  • employ professionally qualified staff, that are familiar with the destination they deal with, in order to be able to advise and sell language stays in a competent manner
  • know the schools they work with, and visit them on a regular basis
  • choose the schools they work with carefully, and encourage these schools to fulfil the SALTA qualifications
  • examine and analyse the satisfaction of clients through the use of Questionaries and use these as a measure to determine quality standards
  • guarantee that enquiries and orders placed by customers are processed correctly and with hast
  • inform clients regarding valid entrance requirements to foreign countries
  • assist clients that have complaints, that are not satisfied, or have to deal with unusual situations
  • the Conditions of Contract (incl. Payment and Cancellation Policies) should be transparent and available to every client
